28 Jun Updated travel guide showcases the best of Worcestershire
Chris Green Media is helping to promote Worcestershire by writing a travel guide showcasing the very best the county has to offer visitors.
Chris and Teresa Green were commissioned to update Welcome to Worcestershire for 2021 by Kingfisher Visitor Guides.
The hardback book will be placed in hotels across the county to inspire visitors to make the most of their stay in the region. Chapters cover visitor attractions, shopping, history, nightlife, sport, arts and culture, eating out and surrounding areas of interest including Shakespeare Country, Herefordshire and Birmingham.
Teresa Green, a former Bromsgrove Advertiser sports editor and travel writer who has lived in the county for more than 30 years, said: “We updated the book during lockdown and can now look forward to visiting all the wonderful places we’ve been writing about. Although some businesses have sadly closed, we were pleased to see some new openings.”
Experienced author and former Radio 5 Live and Radio 4 broadcaster Chris Green, who was born and bred in Worcester, added: “As a Worcestershire Ambassador, I’m proud to promote the county as a great place to live, spend leisure time and work.
“Being involved with Welcome to Worcestershire confirms just how much businesses and residents have to be proud of.”
The book is available to download from the Kingfisher Visitor Guides website.
