As CGM’s editorial partner, Teresa is responsible for managing all editorial work for our clients – including the drafting and circulating of press releases, liaising with media, creating content and managing social media accounts for our clients and other corporate communications activity.
The winner of four national newspaper industry awards, Teresa joined CGM in 2010 after a 25 year career in regional newspapers in Worcestershire and the West Midlands.
Teresa studied journalism at the South Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education and her roles have included sports editor at the Bromsgrove Advertiser, assistant editor at the Kidderminster Shuttle and sports reporter/sub editor at the Sunday Mercury.
One of the first women sports editors in the UK, Teresa has been highly commended at the British Sports Journalism, Newsquest and Newspaper Society awards.
At CGM, Teresa was recognised in the 2016 Worcestershire Hour awards for her social media campaign for the charity dance spectacular Strictly Worcestershire.
As a former winner Teresa has been honoured to be a judge at the prestigious British Sports Journalism Awards since 2021 .
A vastly experienced travel, tourism and entertainment journalist, with husband Chris, Teresa wrote Welcome to Worcestershire for Kingfisher Visitor Guides in 2019 and 2021 and Welcome to Bath, Welcome to Bristol and Welcome to Gloucestershire in 2021.
She is an avid Worcestershire CCC and West Bromwich Albion supporter and a former director at Worcestershire Cricket Board. She also helped to deliver the ECB’s All Stars junior cricket programme at Droitwich Spa CC and Avoncroft CC.
Teresa now balances her CGM work with an administration role at Worcester Foodbank.
