Our Culture

our core values and ethics

AN AUTHENTIC CULTURE

The character of any business is defined by its culture.

That’s why the authenticity of CGM it isn’t just in what we do but the way we do it.

We’re proud to promote a positive and proactive business culture both in the originality of each member of our team and by maintaining the very highest possible professional ethics and standards.

Our sustainability commitment includes supporting the UN Global Compact approach to the environment by engaging with local business, charity and our community.

We also reduce, reuse and recycle where possible to help minimise our carbon footprint.

We believe that all makes for a healthy and vibant business culture.

CORE VALUES IN ACTION

We have several non-negotiable ethics and values with policies in place to fortify our beliefs.

If you don’t feel you can align to our values it’s probably not worthwhile picking up the phone to ask if CGM will work with you. These include:

Sustainability– Our environmental policy includes reducing our carbon footprint with paperless billing, limiting transport use where possible and recycling packaging, paper and ink cartridges.

Anti-discrimination – We won’t work with people or organisations that discriminate on grounds of ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation or who promote racist, sexist, homophobic, sectarian and/or other discriminatory views.

Privacy– Your privacy is foremost to us. Our CGM privacy policy commits us to keeping your details safely tucked away from prying eyes in the cloud and we abide by GDPR rules on circulating marketing information to our contacts.

CHARITY

We believe that doing good is good for business so CGM was founded on a commitment to devote at least 20 percent of our work time to support charities, good causes and fundraising organisations with each member of the CGM team having their own choice of community projects to support.

Our current charity partners are Worcester Foodbank, where Teresa also works part time, and the National Children’s Football Alliance, which is a youth sport project close to Chris’s heart and for which he was an original patron.

Teresa has also been communications director at Worcestershire Cricket Board, which supports the growth, quality and accessibility of recreational cricket and Chris is a former director of Worcestershire Ambassadors, which promotes our county, supports good causes and encourages friendship.

Both Teresa and Chris are Worcestershire County Council Enterprise Advisers at local schools across the region and are avid litter pickers determined to keep their local community as litter-free as possible.
