Inspire 2015 will feature a stellar line up of speakers and debate participants who will provide specific industry expertise and personal ‘been there, done it’ stories.

Our guest speakers include:

Pam Easen – Building a successful business on vision, values, ethics and integrity

Pam is the founder of H1 Healthcare, a successful multi-million pound turnover healthcare business which she started as a mum of six from her kitchen table in rural Aberdeenshire and without a PC, mobile or laptop. Her inspiring message is ‘If I can do it, you can too’ and is based on setting a clear vision, having against-the odds determination, and holding true to your business values and ethics.

Stuart Roy Clarke – how to develop your own niche brand

Stuart Roy Clarke is a unique football photographer who has developed his own brand and visual niche called The Homes of Football , which is a touring exhibition, permanent display at the National Football Museum, featured in Stuart’s own books. For 15 years, he had a gallery in the Lake District town of Ambleside. Stuart, who is currently artist in residence at the FA’s St George’s Park, will talk about the enduring value of creating your own marketable niche.

Ian Whiting – Innovate or die  

Ian Whiting is founder of Titania Cyber Security, a cutting edge cyber security company founded in 2009 which is 2014 British Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year and has constantly innovated to stay ahead of their competitors to provide valuable products their clients want and need. Ian will talk about the need and value of innovation.

Mike Ashton – our keynote speaker

Mike Ashton, pictured right, is chief executive of Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce which has 1,300 members and was British Chamber of Commerce Chamber of the Year 2013.

Brian Murdoch – content is king and doing things differently to raise your reputation

Brian Murdoch has provided catering at Kidderminster Harriers FC for 50 years and is recognised as the supremo of alfresco football food with his award-winning soup and other culinary delights such as curries, cottages pies, pasta and sweet and sour dishes. Brian will join our ideas panel discussion.

Gerard Smith – doing good is good business

Gerard Smith is the driving force behind Strictly Worcestershire, a charity dance spectacular which is the county’s largest single fund-raising event, which benefits both the Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign and Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer. The event is being held at the Chateau Impney in Droitwich Spa on May 21, 2015.

Jim Cadman – generating funds for celebrity public art projects

Jim Cadman is a statue-preneur with experience of generating funds for celebrity public art projects including Les Dawson, Sir Tom Finney, Fred Trueman and Dickie Bird. His latest project is the repair of the famous Eric Morecambe Statue in the late comedian’s home town, a new wall art and ‘bring me sunshine’ walk of fame in Morecambe and the Celebration Statue for football’s ‘Three Degrees’.

Tracey Jacob – writing your own fund-raising poetry book

Tracey is the author of a poetry collection called Dot’s Ditties, which was inspired by her own experience of fighting breast cancer and losing her mother to the same illness. The book has been published to raise funds for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign. Having grown up abroad, predominantly in Southern Africa, Tracey worked for the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a PA to the manager of the Africa, Middle East and South Asia information desk. At the age of 26, she took over the management of the department, organising conferences, overseas visits and trade missions. In later years, she set up a business called Ladies Who Decorate but during this time, Tracey’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and she gave up the business to concentrate on the family. After the death of her mother in 2006 after a six year battle, Tracey set up a holiday letting business. In March 2013, she was also diagnosed with breast cancer and following a major operation and chemotherapy she is now well and looking forward to the next stage in her varied life and career.

Andy Hemming

A successful business coach (in the top five UK coaches in the ActionCOACH franchise), Andy is a former expat chartered accountant who believes less is more and focuses on delivering the best results in as little time as possible to achieve a healthy work-life balance. Andy, who is based in Worcestershire, will join our Impetus discussion panel.

Brendan McMahon

Brendan is CGM’s creative director and owner of award-winning design agency, Classic Lines Design (voted in the UK’s top 100 design agencies in marketing magazine, The Drum). Brendan will join our Impetus discussion panel.
