Consumer Council for Water
CGM delivered a bespoke broadcast media training day for Consumer Council for Water team members and a local consumer advocate.
Training was delivered by experienced broadcasters Chris Green and Tom Watt and cameraman Graham Essenhigh, who has extensive network TV experience.
Our broadcast media training days consist of several core elements:
– Appreciation and understanding the needs of differing media and how to reach your target audience
– Learning to get ‘on message’ – preparing and devising key messages you wish to convey
– Plenty of hands on interview practice, covering differing types and durations of interviews across TV, radio and print media including dealing with ‘curve ball’ questions
– Differing situations – including studio and outside locations and assessing the choices involved.
In 2021, CGM delivered training on writing press releases.
