An opportunity posted on a leading business website in Worcestershire has resulted in a stunning new website for a Bromsgrove-based firm of chartered surveyors.

Thomas Lister’s appeal on Finditinworcestershire.com was spotted by Chris Green Media, who contacted the practice the same day to arrange a meeting then submitted a proposal which proved successful.

Another feature of the Find It in Worcestershire service delivered by the county council’s economic development team helped build the relationship between the two companies. CGM’s managing director Chris Green was booked as a speaker at the next monthly networking breakfast, ironically on the morning of their next meeting.

Rachel Lister, director of Thomas Lister, said: “Not only did CGM come across as professional and experienced but they were also highly regarded in the local business community.

“We received other responses but liked CGM’s approach. They didn’t talk industry jargon, understood our needs and were switched on to modern website design.”

As well as designing and building a new website, CGM drafted all the content in-house and provided photography, SEO and training to update the site.

“Thomas Lister are involved in many ground-breaking building projects and have directors and staff who are valued, knowledgeable experts in their field,” said CGM creative director Brendan McMahon.

“We felt the value and credibility of what they do was buried with their old website so we tried to lift their image and profile to feature some of the fantastic work they have delivered.”
