Worcester’s oldest law firm HallmarkHulme has appointed a new partner.
Lynda Bragg-Walker is the first Chartered Legal Executive in the practice’s 224 year history to take on the role. Her fellow partners are all solicitors.
The mother of two grown-up children, Mrs Bragg-Walker joined the Sansome Place-based firm in 2010 and currently heads up HallmarkHulme’s wills and lasting powers of attorney department.
“I’m delighted to have been made a partner and look forward to helping to drive the practice forward,” said Mrs Bragg-Walker, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives for more than ten years.
“My role entails compliance work relating to our Lexcel qualification and I will also continue to visit elderly clients in their homes or in hospitals or care homes to take instructions and give advice.”
Partner and head of probate Trish Venables said: “Lynda is already a great asset to the practice. She has established an excellent relationship with her colleagues and clients and we are delighted that she has agreed to become a partner.”
