Firm’s charity initiative turns signage into smiles

CitySigns New Hope

CitySigns joint partners Darren and Deanne Wilkins with New Hope mascot Emily the Elephant and founder Jean Wilson.

A kind-hearted Worcester company’s New Year initiative is helping to generate valuable funds for a city-based organisation supporting children with disabilities.

Family-owned CitySigns, who are based at Ball Mill Top Business Park in Hallow, have pledged to donate £10 to New Hope for every vehicle livery completed in 2015.

Joint partner Darren Wilkins said: “We decided to make New Hope our chosen charity as it plays a vital role in our community by providing children with a safe and stimulating environment to learn and develop as well as fun days out.

“As vehicle livery is the biggest aspect of our signage and printing business we thought this would be an excellent way to raise funds. Hopefully it will give our new and existing customers the feel good factor too.”

New Hope founder Jean Wilson said: “The support of local companies such as CitySigns is invaluable to us. The money raised through their generous donations will go towards days out and associated travel costs.”
