04 Sep Coffee, cakes and candid business advice at fund-raiser
Two Droitwich Spa businesses have teamed up to host an event which aims to raise vital charity funds and make the prospect of tackling tax returns taste sweeter.
Ormerod Rutter Chartered Accountants are staging a small business surgery and networking event as part of Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at St Andrews Town Hotel on Friday, September 25 from 9am to noon.
Business owners can network while enjoying a cuppa and a slice of cake at the hotel, in St Andrews Drive, and consultations are available with three senior figures from Ormerod Rutter.
Partner Alex Dyer, tax partner David Gillies and private client manager Anthony Middleton will offer advice and support on a range of issues related to running a small business, including help with tax returns. To book a 20 minute slot in advance, email sianconway@ormerodrutter.co.uk
“We’re always looking for opportunities to help the local business community and by hosting this event we can also raise money for an excellent cause,” said Mr Dyer.
Staff at Ormerod Rutter’s offices in the town will also be holding their own coffee morning and ‘bake off’ challenge to raise more money for Macmillan.
