Hollywood’s loss is Worcester’s gain in the shape of Alistair Cowin, CGM’s elder statesman and expert photographer whose amazing career includes being a fashion designer and a commercial photographer with his own studios in Miami, Malibu, Cannes and Knightsbridge before settling in the Midlands.

Alistair can name drop with the best of them having photographed many major figures including Cameron Diaz, Pierce Brosnan, Tess Daly, Yasmin LeBon, Sadie Frost, James Hunt, Band Aid co-founder and Ultravox frontman Midge Ure, England rugby star Jeremy Guscott and fashion designer Bruce Oldfield.

Alistair is a society wedding photographer too with venues including Blenheim Palace, Westminster Abbey and Chatsworth.Now with his own studio in Worcester, Alistair published his first fashion and beauty book in 2015 focusing on the very latest British looks.

Keen to give back to the future generation of creatives, Alistair asks talented Heart of Worcestershire College students to be among the make up artists for the shoots.CGM clients love Alistair – one even said that she’d like to carry him round in her pocket so he could take photos of her at any time!
