25 May Get quizzical to celebrate great sporting summer
Quick-thinking sports fans can celebrate a mouth-watering summer of sport by giving their brain cells a workout at Faster, Stronger, Higher – The Drama of Sport Quiz in Worcester next month.
Following their sell out Sport & Spice event in 2015, Chris and Teresa Green of Chris Green Media are returning to Worcestershire Litfest and Fringe with a quizzical extravaganza on a literary theme at Security House, Barbourne Road, on Sunday, June 12 at 7.30pm.
Participants can test their knowledge of the European Football Championships and the Olympic Games plus well-known sports books and films.
Event host Chris Green is the author of five highly acclaimed sports books, including Every Boy’s Dream – England’s Football Future on the Line, which was nominated for the 2010 British Sports Book of the Year award.
Chris co-authored Cyrille Regis – My Story and his other books are The Sack Race: The Story of Football Gaffers, Matchday: What Makes Saturday Special? and Football Confidential: Scams, Scandals and Screw Ups.
Question setter Teresa is an award-winning sports writer and was one of the first women sports editors in the UK.
