Healthcare company appoints new non-executive director

International healthcare recruitment and workforce solutions provider H1 Healthcare has appointed a new non-executive director.

Suhail Mirza joins the company’s board as it continues its growth strategy across the UK and Australia.

H1 Healthcare founder and chief executive Pamela Easen said: “I have known Suhail for several years and have been impressed by his expertise and knowledge of the UK healthcare sector across both public and independent segments and the recruitment industry in general.

“Suhail is a well respected member of the recruitment community. His experience of growing, and successfully selling, a healthcare business will be of significant benefit to the company and he represents an important addition to our team.”

Mr Mirza, who has written for Recruitment International and also contributes analytical pieces for healthcare trade journals including Healthcare Market News and Community Care Market News, said:I was honoured and delighted to be approached to join the board.

“Whilst there is clearly a common passion for the recruitment and healthcare sectors, the most important factor is the alignment in vision and values between me and Pamela. I look forward to playing a part in H1’s journey towards the realisation of this vision.”

A leading provider of recruitment, training and healthcare services to clients throughout the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the Gulf region, H1 Healthcare has offices in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Sydney. The company’s clients include the NHS, private healthcare providers, care homes, prisons and voluntary organisations.
