Charity dance spectacular Strictly Worcestershire returns in May 2015 with organisers vowing that it will be bigger, better and bolder than this year’s debut event.

The glitzy fund-raiser will be staged at the Chateau Impney in Droitwich Spa on Thursday, May 21.

Due to increased demand, the capacity has been increased to 750 – 350 seats have already been reserved – and thousands of pounds is expected to be raised for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign and Ladies Fighting Breast Cancer.

So far six couples have signed up to strut their stuff under the iconic glitterball including Free Radio DJ Hursty and Laura Bligh; Dave and Sue Connellan; Nick and Julia Sandy and John Kerr and Debra Hutchinson.

With space in the competition for eight couples, there’s still time for more Worcestershire residents to get involved under the watchful eye of choreographers Paul Pritchard and Tracey Richards of Dance at 8.

Veteran broadcaster Bob Warman, business ambassador and former trade minister Lord Digby Jones and dancer/choreographer Katie Love return as judges and completing the panel is Katie McPhilimey, managing editor/owner of Live 24-Seven magazines, who was part of a team that won the World Championship Irish Dance Drama title three times.
