Worcestershire-based Ormerod Rutter Corporate Finance and law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys have advised URT Group Limited on their recent strategic investment by Kamkorp Limited.

URT is one of the UK’s leading composite engineering solutions providers, serving customers across a range of end markets including automotive, motorsport, renewable energy and defence. It employs over 100 staff at state-of-the-art facilities in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, and recent projects include producing the cockpit for the Bloodhound SSC land speed record car.

The company’s new partner, Kamkorp, through its core operating company, Frazer-Nash Research Limited is at the forefront of sustainable transport development. The association with Kamkorp will enhance URT’s presence and offerings in the automotive sector, with URT’s expertise in chassis and body design complementing Frazer-Nash’s leading edge capabilities in electric and range extended powertrain development.

Leon Keller, managing director of Ormerod Rutter Corporate Finance, and Richard Wilkey, partner at Harrison Clark Rickerbys, led the advice to the company.
